Women’s dorm
It was my first short film based not on my own script. Also it was a great experience for me to work with famous Russian actors and try musical scenes.
In future I want to turn to this genre once again and one day shoot a true Russian Musical!
Especially for this film we found an abandoned dorm near the center of Moscow. Our production designers made 2 halls and 5 living rooms completely from scratch!
I still can’t believe it!
For me in the beginning of my directing career it was a true blessing to shoot a film with such talented actors.
Now the movie is too outdated for me. It was a great experience, but I need to move on.
