Family

I was born in simple provincial town Tambov. My parents are from ordinary families, my father was engaged in programming, my mother graduated from the directing faculty in Moscow.

I think that family and hometown are the most important things for any person, but especially for a film director.

Teacher

Perhaps the most important stage of my professional education and growth was the course of Alexander Sokurov in Saint Petersburg. I will remember these three years for the rest of my life.
